François Lesueur

After studying Film and Audiovisual, François Lesueur moved into the music world where he held several positions, including stage manager on various opera productions. However, he chose the civil service and joined the Cultural Affairs Department, where he was successively in charge of concert halls, municipal theatres and partnerships set up in Paris museums before joining "Paris Musées", where he is responsible for privatising spaces. His passion for journalism and opera led him to write very early on for numerous French and foreign music magazines, which led him to collaborate in particular with the Swiss cultural monthly Scènes magazine from 1993 to 2016 and to join the editorial staff of Opéra Magazine in 2015. He has also been a music critic for the website concertclassic.com since 2006. He has been associated with wanderesite.com since its launch.
